How to play Krypto
- Five number cards are dealt, plus one target card.
- Tap a card, an operation, then another card to combine them into a new card.
- Keep combining until one card is left. If it equals the target, you win.
- You must use all five cards, each exactly once.
Krypto strategy tips
- Find a pair that makes the target, then try to turn the other three cards into a 1 (multiply by it) or a 0 (add it).
- Subtract to shrink big cards: 23 − 19 = 4 is often more useful than either card alone.
- Look for division: big numbers that divide evenly are great for getting back to small targets.

What numbers are in a Krypto deck?
A Krypto deck has the numbers 1 to 10 three times each, 11 to 17 twice each, and 18 to 25 once each. Our game deals from the same deck.
Are fractions allowed in Krypto?
No. In our version every step must be a positive whole number.
Is Krypto good for the classroom?
Yes. Krypto practices order of operations and mental math. Easy mode uses only cards 1 to 10.
